The AIS Student Chapters program is hosting two competitions, the Microsoft Analytics Challenge and the AIS Software Innovation Challenge, with final presentations to coincide with the AIS Student Chapter Leadership Conference on April 9, 2022.
The Microsoft Analytics Challenge invites the creative minds of AIS Student Chapter members to develop sustainability proposals for implementing clean energy practices in their communities. Participating students will receive vouchers to complete certifications in Microsoft products. Learn more about the Microsoft Analytics Challenge here!
The AIS Software Innovation Challenge focuses on information systems solutions, innovations and initiatives that help make the world a better, safer place for organizations and society in general. Successful submissions will propose an IS/IT-centered solution to a problem or opportunity that addresses one of the 17 sustainable development goals. “AIS Student Chapter competitions provide students with the opportunity to meet industry professionals and develop skills in the information systems field,” said AIS Associate Vice President of Student Chapters, Alex Barsi Lopes. “We are excited to see students engage with their peers at universities across the world and collaborate with one another on developing solutions and innovations in IT.”
AIS Student Chapter competitions provide students with opportunities to learn, observe and develop their skills with current industry leaders. Students take their classroom knowledge and apply it to real-life situations they might face in the workforce.
Preliminary submissions are due April 1, 2022, and multiple submissions from the same school are welcome. Visit the AIS Student Chapters website at www.sc.aisnet.org for competition details. Stay up to date on AIS Student Chapters initiatives by following the program on Instagram and LinkedIn.
