The AIS Distinguished Speakers Program provides access to expert speakers on a variety of information systems research, education and management topics. The speakers program aims to promote the field of information systems throughout the world by identifying
speakers to address topics valuable for academia, industry and government.
Identifying Speakers and Service Terms
Members of the AIS Distinguished Speakers Program will be selected by a standing committee made up two members from each of the AIS-identified regions. The committee will identify
topic listings, the inaugural class of speakers, and all future speakers. The committee members will serve a two-year term.
Members of the AIS Distinguished Speakers Program will agree to serve an initial three-year term with their speaker profile available online. Speakers may choose to accept or decline any invitation to speak and record of all speaking invitations and engagements
will be kept by the AIS for use by the speaker. Following the initial three-year term, speakers can choose to remain members of the Distinguished Speakers Program for an additional three years.
Those participating in the Distinguished Speakers Program must be members of AIS in good standing.
