Michael Dohan

Michael S. Dohan is an Associate Professor (Information Systems) at the Faculty of Business Administration at Lakehead University. He graduated with his PhD in Business Administration from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. His academic work has been published in top-tier journals and conference proceedings, including Communications of the Association of Information Systems, America's Conference on Information Systems, the Hawaiian International Conference on Systems Sciences, and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada conference.

Mahesh Boodraj

Associate Vice President of Paper Review System - ICIS

Mahesh Boodraj is an assistant professor of information technology management at the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. His research focuses on cybersecurity, IT project management, and software development. He has published several peer-reviewed articles in various outlets, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems and the Data Base for Advances in Information Systems. He also has extensive experience teaching at the undergraduate, master, and executive levels. He is a Distinguished Member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and a co-founder of the AIS Doctoral Student College. Before joining academia, he spent twelve years in various managerial and technical roles at the Mona School of Business and Management and IBM.

Alireza Farnoush is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University. Dr. Farnoush's research focuses on data analytics and natural language processing, with applications in health informatics, misinformation, and emerging technologies such as blockchain. His work has been published in leading journals including Scientific Reports, Journal of Business Research, Annals of Operations Research, and Journal of Management Control.

Randy Wong is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Auckland Business School. Her research focuses on the societal and ethical implications of technology use, with particular emphasis on online deviance, digital inclusion, immersive environments, and AI in the workplace. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Internet Research, Computers in Human Behavior, and Industrial Management & Data Systems. She has also presented at major international conferences and currently serves as Managing Editor of Internet Research.

Gladys Simpson

Associate Vice President of Student Chapters

Gladys Simpson is an Associate Teaching Professor at Florida International University. She has over two decades of experience in the management, design and development of information systems and the application of quantitative methods in business and economics. She has consulted private and public organizations in the strategic use of information systems and data analytics for improved organizational performance. Her research interests span the areas of e-Learning, economic and organizational impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and applications of quantitative methods in decision making. She is currently an e-board member of the Latin American Chapter for the Association Information Systems and faculty advisor for the student chapter of AIS at FIU.

She was appointed AVP of Student Chapters in 2023.

Juliana Sutanto

Associate Vice President for Indexing and Publications

Juliana Sutanto is a Professor and Digital Transformation Group Lead at Monash University in Australia. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from National University of Singapore. Juliana's research interests focus on information systems design and behavior analysis. She pursues interdisciplinary research and engages with research stakeholders (organisations and communities) to create impact. Her work has been published in leading journals like MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Management Science, Information Systems Research (ISR), Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), and Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS) among others. She is currently Senior Editor for JAIS.

B. Veeresh Thummadi

Dr. B. Veeresh Thummadi is a Lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS) department at Cork University Business School at University College Cork and a member of Lero, The Science Foundation Ireland Research Center for software. His research is primarily focused on issues in information systems, open source and agile methods. Specifically, he is interested in understanding how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data shape business and software processes.

He was appointed AVP for Global Expansion of Student Chapters in 2023.

Andreas Janson

Associate Vice President of Education Curations

Andreas Janson is an International Postdoctoral Fellow and Project Manager at the University of St.Gallen, CH and the Information Management (IWI-HSG). He graduated in Information Systems (IS; Wirtschaftsinformatik ) at the University of Kassel, where he received his PhD with highest distinction ("summa cum laude"). Afterwards, he worked as Post Doc and Project Manager at the University of Kassel and the Interdisciplinary Research Center for IS Design (ITeG), where he led a research group with PhD students considered with service design in various domains. After joining the University of St.Gallen, he is still lecturer and guest researcher at the University of Kassel.

His research interests focus on trust in information systems, the understanding and development of smart services, use processes and appropriation of information systems, as well as decision-making in digitized environments.

He was appointed as AVP of Education Curations in 2023.

Amit Deokar

Associate Vice President of Technology

Amit Deokar is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs & Accreditation and an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell. Dr. Deokar's current research is in the areas of data analytics and business process management. He has delivered invited keynote talks on the advancement and adoption of Generative AI in higher education and businesses. He is involved in building industry collaborations and serves as a consultant to organizations in these topic areas. Dr. Deokar has co-authored a popular textbook "Machine Learning for Business Analytics: Concepts, Techniques and Applications in RapidMiner." Dr. Deokar serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the e-Service Journal and as an editorial board member of journals including Decision Support Systems and Information Systems Frontiers, among others. He is an advisory board member of the AIS Special Interest Group on Decision Support and Analytics (SIGDSA). In the past, he has served as the Program Co-Chair for the AMCIS 2024 international conference, Chair of AIS SIGDSA, and the President of the Midwest Chapter of AIS (MWAIS). Dr. Deokar received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and has prior education in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Carmen Leong

Associate Vice President of Sustainability

Carmen Leong is an Associate Professor in Information Systems at the UNSW Business School, Sydney. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore. Carmen's research explores how digital technologies can empower individuals, organizations, and communities to drive meaningful change. She has conducted more than 45 in-depth case studies across Asia and Australia to examine how digital technologies shape entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation, disaster response, mass mobilization, and organizational transformation. Her work has been published in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and European Journal of Information Systems. Carmen is the recipient of the 2021 AIS Impact Award in recognition of the societal relevance of her research. To advance her interest in translational and impact-driven research, she co-founded the Digital Frontiers Lab at UNSW in 2024, which connects academia, industry, and communities to co-design digital solutions for social inclusion and regional development.

Pratyush Bharati

Associate Vice President of Sustainability

Pratyush Bharati is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His research interests are in green information systems, artificial intelligence, social media analytics, and big data. He received the 2013-14 Fulbright Senior Researcher award. He is the Senior Editor of The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems Journal and an Associate Editor of Communications of the AIS. He served as an Editorial Review Board member of an Information Systems Research special issue and on the Editorial Review Board of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. He is a Distinguished Member of Association for Information Systems (AIS) and former President of AIS Special Interest Group on Green Information Systems (SIGGreen).
