AIS Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide members with the opportunity to meet like-minded people across universities and countries. A special interest group is a community within AIS with a shared interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge in IS to affect or produce solutions. AIS SIGs often host conference tracks and workshops, journals, and online research events and are a great way to build a network among the association’s global membership.
How do I join a Special Interest Group?
Interested AIS members can join a SIG at any time of the year and are welcome to join as many SIGs as you would like. To add a SIG to your AIS membership, please visit https://aisnet.org/page/AISSIGs, select the “Join Now” button under the SIG(s) of your choosing, and provide payment information when requested. Many of the special interest groups provide free membership for AIS Doctoral Student members. (Doctoral Student Members: Learn more about the resources available here.)
