AIS is excited to announce Special Interest Group on Digital Innovation, Transformation, and Entrepreneurship (SIG DITE) as the newest addition to AIS Communities.
SIG DITE was approved by the council and was formed in response to the profound changes in information systems that digitization has instigated. New conceptual frameworks have established a strong foundation for research on topics including digital innovation, digital infrastructure, digital artifacts, digital governance, and digital transformation.
No AIS Community has promoted or facilitated the networking and exchange of ideas between professionals interested in digital innovation, transformation or entrepreneurship. SIG DITE has made it their mission to provide a community for a currently dispersed group of scholars. This community will advance research in the creation of new digital infrastructures, products, business models, and organizational forms.
SIG DITE plans on aligning current conference mini tracks while introducing new events related to digital innovation, transformation, and entrepreneurship. This SIG will help maintain consistent digital research to become more accessible to researchers who want to keep up with emerging research trends.
SIG DITE was founded by Ola Henfridsson, who serves as the president, with the help from Robert Gregory, president elect, Kathryn Brohman, secretary, and Sanja Tumbas, treasurer. This SIG already has 42 members and encourages those interested to join today.
