1. Why did you originally join AIS, and what has kept you involved?
I joined AIS to engage with a global community advancing ethical, human-centered innovation in information systems. After completing my M.S. in Information Technology at Virginia Tech, I sought a platform that bridges research and practice. What keeps me involved is AIS’s collaborative spirit, focus on responsible technology, and commitment to mentoring and knowledge-sharing that inspire future IS leaders.
2. What's a recent professional accomplishment you're proud of?
I led a firm-wide digital transformation at Fidelity Investments, executing a microservice-based digital vault to digitize documents for millions of customers. This initiative improved accessibility, sustainability, and operational efficiency while eliminating legacy paper processes. It strengthened customer and associate experiences and reflected my commitment to human-centered innovation, ethical technology, and the responsible use of information systems to create meaningful impact. 3. What's the best career advice you've ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to lead with purpose, not position. Titles fade, but the impact we create through empathy, integrity, and curiosity endures. This perspective reminds me that technology is only meaningful when it improves lives—a principle that continues to guide my work, leadership, and mentorship in information systems.
4. What's a hidden talent, interesting hobby, or fun fact you'd like to share about yourself?
Outside of work, I mentor young professionals worldwide and find energy in helping others discover their purpose in technology and leadership. I also enjoy exploring how philosophy and design thinking shape human behavior—a curiosity that often inspires creative solutions at work. Mentoring, travel, and lifelong learning keep me grounded and inspired.
