29th President of AIS: Nancy Pouloudi

Nancy Pouloudi is a Professor of Information Systems Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), Greece. Her educational background is in Informatics (BSc from AUEB) and Information Systems (MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics, UK). Pouloudi's research focuses on organizational and social issues in IS adoption and implementation.

Within AIS, Pouloudi was Region 2 Representative on AIS Council from 2010 to 2013 and has regularly served on the AIS Region 2 Board and the Executive Committee of the Mediterranean Conference on IS. Pouloudi also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems and several others. Formerly, she served as Senior Associate Editor at the European Journal of Information Systems and as Associate Editor of IT & People. Pouloudi received the AIS Sandra Slaughter Service Award in 2016 and AIS Technology Challenge Award in 2020 for the work she has contributed to Information Systems.
