AIS Welcomes New Membership Director: Welcome Amanda Decker!

AIS is excited to announce Amanda Decker, CAE as the new Membership Director. Amanda has more than a decade of experience working with associations in the medical field and is excited to make the transition in the field of Information Systems. She has served as a mentor for the Young Professionals Program of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and as an Awards and Scholarship Committee Member for the Association Forum.

Amanda has served associations in various capacities, including as International Programs Manager, and most recently, as Executive Director. This diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of how the different pieces of the association puzzle fit together to achieve success. She is passionate about working with volunteers to grow member value by connecting people, ideas, and organizations.

In addition to being a Certified Association Executive (CAE), she has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Anthropology from DePauw University.

"I am honored to join AIS as the new Membership Director and bring my experience in association leadership to this dynamic organization," said Amanda. "I look forward to fostering meaningful connections among our diverse membership and collaborating to further strengthen the engaged communities that inspire innovation and advance the field of information systems."
