About SIG ADIT The Special Interest Group on Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology (SIG ADIT) offers a forum for researchers and enthusiasts focused on the adoption and diffusion of IT among users, organizations, and societies. Founded as DIGIT in 1988 and incorporated under the AIS umbrella in 2004, SIG ADIT has evolved into a community fostering global research and networking. Legacy of Excellence Dedicated to serving the AIS community and connecting researchers worldwide, SIG ADIT has been the recipient of the AIS Outstanding SIG Awards for nine consecutive years from 2014 to 2023. Engage: Key Activities and Events SIG ADIT members benefit from a range of activities designed to share and advance research ideas, including: Annual pre-ICIS DIGIT Workshop: The latest workshop saw 21 accepted papers, with top honors awarded to Laura Lohoff and Thomas Hess, and runner-up recognition to Arturo H. Cano Bejar, Soumya Ray, and Jennifer Claggett. SIG ADIT supported PhD students with full and partial scholarships to foster new research talent. Conference Tracks: SIG ADIT organizes and supports tracks at major IS conferences, such as IS Innovation, Adoption, and Diffusion at ECIS 2024, Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology at AMCIS 2024, and IT Implementation and Adoption at ICIS 2024.
