The Program Chairs for ICIS 2023 invite the submission of completed research papers, short papers, teaching cases, panels, and workshops. Also, the conference will include TREO Talks and a Paper-a-Thon, and submissions for these will take place in October. We especially welcome submissions in current and emerging areas of Information Systems research as outlined in the twenty-three tracks.
To be held December 10-13, 2023, in Hyderabad, India, ICIS 2023 will center around the theme “Rising Like a phoenix: Emerging From The Pandemic and Reshaping Human Endeavors with Digital Technologies.” ICIS 2023 presents a unique opportunity for attendees to obtain a first-hand appreciation of the global status and structure of the Indian information systems industry. CEOs, CIOs, industry leaders from the top IS firms in India and government officials involved with IT and digitization in India will gather at ICIS 2023 to interact with the attendees. Also, they will present their unique perspectives regarding the IS industry in India and their organizations in relation to the global business environment.
We would also like to highlight a new track at ICIS 2023 – the Practitioner-Oriented Research track aims to bridge academic theory by focusing on essential and unique lessons and recommendations for practice. Also, key events at ICIS 2023 will include the IT Leadership forum (CIO forum), panels, symposia, workshops, and keynote presentations. Besides the Annual IT Leadership forum, the program will include symposia and panels with leaders from premier IT companies and start-ups from India, the region, and beyond.
