An AIS membership opens the door to many benefits aimed at improving personal careers, creating networks for advanced IS research, providing opportunities to create more inclusive communities and more. For the next few months, AIS will be highlighting the many programs and services the association offers through our Focus on Society.

This new program, Focus on Society, will not only highlight the longstanding programs and services our members have grown to expect, but also highlight recent additions to help create a more robust member experience. Career Services

As an AIS member you have access to a plethora of job postings and resources via AIS Career Services. AIS Career Services connects IS academic and industry opportunities with highly qualified IS talent both online and at AIS conferences. AIS keeps an up-to-date job list for both Academic Careers and IS & Tech Industry Careers along with Career Development resources. The Academic Careers site connects job seekers with teaching and research opportunities in academia. The IS & Tech Industry Careers connects job seekers with employers seeking information systems and technology professionals. The Career Development site provides AIS members everything needed to make your resume stand out, ace the interview, advance your career, and navigate the digital world through social media and digital communication.

Alongside online job postings and resources, AIS members and conference registrants have access to Career Connect at both AMCIS and ICIS. Career Connect provides opportunities for job seekers and employers to connect, virtually and/or in person. Career Connect gives employers with active job postings a free table at which representatives can meet with prospective applicants.
