The Association for Information Systems is excited to announce MIS Quarterly Executive (MISQE) is now an official journal of the association and is hosted in the AIS eLibrary. In addition to this expansive journal, a new SIG has been established with a focus on practice-based research in information systems (SIG MISQE).
AIS Council voted to approve ownership of MISQE during the September 2018 AIS Council Meeting. The transition was effective October 1, 2018 and the journal is now available to all AIS members and AIS eLibrary subscribers at https://aisel.aisnet.org/misqe/. The eLibrary also offers a unique subscription for those who wish to access only this journal.
AIS would like to thank the entire MISQE Editorial Board, including MISQE Editor-in-Chief Dorothy E. Leidner, Alan Dennis, Carol V. Brown, Jeanne Ross and many others for their generous contribution and efforts in making this transition possible.
"The AIS mission is to advance knowledge and excellence in the study of information systems,” said AIS President TP Liang. “The addition of MISQE to the permanent collection of the AIS eLibrary helps to drive home that mission and enrich the association’s value to members. We are grateful to the MISQE Editorial Board for this wonderful addition and benefit to all AIS members."
Additional thanks go to Akshat Lakhiwal from Indiana University, Scott Sessions from BePress, Aretha Wright from AIS and Alan Dennis from Indiana University for their efforts in implementing the transition of this journal.
