The Association for Information Systems utilizes the AIS Research Conduct Committee (RCC) has been a long-standing committee of the association and is tasked with making sure authors and members adhere to the AIS Research Code of Conduct. Additionally, this committee developed guidelines for journal editors and conference program chairs, as well as guidelines for victims of plagiarism.
Robert Davison, a longtime member of AIS, has served as the chair of the RCC for more than six years and his work and dedication to the field of information systems has resulted in providing exemplary guidelines, due process procedures, and education for all journal editors, conference program chairs and members.
AIS would like to thank Davison for his invaluable years of services to the association.
AIS welcomes Maung Sein, who has been appointed the new chair of the RCC beginning July 1 and lasting three years. Primary responsibilities of the committee include annually reviewing the AIS Code of Research Conduct, as well as addressing allegations of scholarly misconduct in the Association’s journals and proceedings.
Other members of the RCC include Traci Carte, Vice President of Meetings and Conferences, and Carol Saunders, Vice President of Publications.
