			| AIS Chapters 101: Branding, Membership, and Fundraising Monday, March 17, 2014
 
			
			  During the 2012-2013 academic school year, the University ofDelaware AIS Student Chapter completely
rebranded and unified all marketing materials, increased member and
participation numbers by 36 percent, and raised $277 from one single
fundraising event. To some, these achievements may seem trivial but reaching
and exceeding such goals during expansion is an accomplishment worth praise.
Under the leadership of former president Melinda Wang, the chapter has grown to
over 280 paid members and participants, allowing AIS UD to not only host 33
varying events, but also increase the number of hosted events by 371 percent
from the prior year! The rebranding efforts made by this student chapter
facilitated their membership and fundraising numbers, and has proven to be
successful in making an impact on undergraduate students with an interest in
business technology. The University of Delaware chapter continues to grow in
the 2013-2014 academic year under the leadership of co-presidents Bryan Kayne
and Kimberly Eagle.
