The
ICIS 2014 Conference Committee and the Association for Information Systems are
pleased to invite scholars to participate in the thirty-fifth annual
International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2014) to be held in
Auckland, New Zealand from December 14, 2014 to December 17, 2014.

  The
ICIS 2014 Program Committee invites submissions across 21 tracks, including our
theme track "Building a Better World through Information Systems.”
The theme of the conference provides an opportunity for us to think more
deeply about how information systems can contribute to building a better world
through supporting humanitarian efforts, advancing food production and
distribution, enabling better and more affordable access to healthcare and
education, optimizing energy production and consumption systems, facilitating
citizen participation in government, connecting diaspora, among other positive
actions to make the world a better place.
 The
venue of ICIS 2014, Auckland, is one of the great cities of the South Pacific,
where stunning natural beauty and big city style meet. Home to 1.5 million
people, the city has modern shopping areas plus many excellent cafes and
restaurants. It is surrounded by two natural harbors, native forests, dormant
volcanoes and beautiful beaches. It is regularly voted one of the best cities
in the world to live. And of course, ICIS will be held in December - the start
of summer in the southern hemisphere!

 Please
note the following:

The conference website at http://icis2014.aisnet.org/ contains
the track descriptions, deadlines, and submission guidelines.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, May 3, 2014, 11:59 pm Auckland time
