SIG eGOV Elects a New Executive Board

SIG eGovernment is excited to announce the election of its new executive board!

As provided for by the SIG bylaws, four posts have been contended: president, president-elect, secretary, and treasurer, plus the post of former SIG officer, which has been accepted by one of the previous board's officers.

The election was carried out online, and the results were presented and unanimously approved at the yearly SIG Business Meeting, which took place at last year's ICIS conference, on December 15, 2012.  Without further ado, here is the new board's roster:

• President: Rony Medaglia, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark
• President-elect: Efthimios (Themis) Tambouris, University of Macedonia
• Secretary: Katarina Lindblad-Gidlund, Mid Sweden University, Sweden
• Treasurer: Arild Jansen, University of Oslo
• Former SIG officer: Kim Normann Andersen, Aalborg University, Denmark
