Participants gained insights into the challenges of the research environment through building physical models, participating in peer-coaching, self-reflection and action planning. While contemporary forms of research methods in IS has been prevalent, we propose to use LSP as a methodology to address two concerns: data quality (individual and teams) and information processing. The methodology will help in extending the qualitative methodology research design.

Though both groups have synergies, IS conferences traditionally have not enabled a forum for them to interact, learn from each other, and gain insights. This forum aims at initiating this interaction through research panel discussion, presentations, and round table discussion. The broad goal of the IARC forum is for practitioners from the information systems (IS) industry and IS academic scholars to meet and understand each other’s work and identify areas for collaboration in research.
