In the 2021 Pre-ICIS research workshop, SIGSI explores the interplay between social inclusion and information systems to enhance sustainability and resilience. To enhance sustainability and resilience of our society, it is imperative that we do so with a critical lens for equity and inclusion. Consequently, it is imperative that we understand the role of information systems in individuals’ and groups’ full participation in the normatively-prescribed activities of the societies in which they are embedded.

SIG IS-CORE: The Seventeenth Annual SIG Cognitive Research Workshop

This year, our SIG CORE workshop reproposes the focus on Cognitive IS, Positive Design, and Sustainable Development, in response to the AIS Grand Vision Challenge. We welcome research that addresses the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals from the cognitive research and human wellbeing and development perspectives to support individual flourishing and sustainable organizational growth. Both full papers and development papers are welcome.
