ECIS 2020, PACIS 2020 and AMCIS 2020 have joined to offer all three conferences as one package. Each conference offers its own distinctive style and content that reflects our diverse global association, so this combined registration offers the opportunity to experience that diversity firsthand.
Register for the AIS Virtual Conference Series
For 25 years, the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) has gathered leaders from the field of Information Systems together to present a broad variety of research and teaching topics. For the first time in its history, AMCIS will be held virtually in August 2020.
The health and well-being of our members is our number one priority in the decision to change AMCIS 2020 from a face-to-face gathering to a virtual event. All accepted papers, ERF, etc. will be published in the conference proceedings, and we will offer many of the usual AMCIS program elements in a range of formats.
AIS and the AMCIS 2020 Conference Committee are working diligently to develop the format and technology. For example, AMCIS may run as scheduled August 13-15, or we may shift and/or expand the dates to better enable members in different time zones to attend sessions (e.g., August 10-14). We will announce the details no later than May 30. In the meantime, please refer to the AMCIS 2020 website for updates and important information: https://amcis2020.aisconferences.org/virtual-conference-faq/.
With this move to a virtual format, we do not want our members to miss out on everything that Salt Lake City has to offer. Therefore, the goal is to return to Salt Lake City for AMCIS 2024.
We are excited to continue with AMCIS 2020 and harness the spirit of our 2020 conference theme of creating a new vision for the future of AIS!
We appreciate the continued support of our members and hope you can join us to experience this unique new way to collaborate, share research, discuss best practices and more.
