AMCIS Outstanding Conference Service Leadership AwardAbout the AwardThe AMCIS Outstanding Conference Service Leadership Award was created to recognize members who have made outstanding service contributions to the Americas Conference on Information Systems. Award Criteria:The winner of this award should show substantial engagement with AMCIS conferences and/or AMCIS ancillary events in a leadership position over a period of time (minimally, over two years or conferences). The Selection Process The AIS Outstanding Conference Service Leadership Committee shall widely solicit nominations from members from the Information Systems community. Nominees must be in good AIS membership standing with the association at the time of the award. Nominations will be valid for three (3) years. It is possible that in some years there will be no qualified candidates, in which case there will be no award given. The Chair of the Committee will notify award recipients. New honorees will be inducted and presented with a plaque by the Chair of the Committee and the Region One VP for the conference at a ceremony held at AMCIS each year. The Chair of the Committee will widely announce the names of newly selected honorees. Committee members are ineligible for this award. Timeline:
