New SIG Launch: Immersive Digital Environments

AIS is excited to announce the launch of the Immersive Digital Environments Special Interest Group (SIG IDE),  a new global community dedicated to exploring the rapidly evolving landscape of the spatial internet and its impact on society, business, and technology.

The Metaverse is reshaping how we engage online, blending the physical and digital through VR, AR, AI, and blockchain. From virtual classrooms and immersive healthcare to reimagined workplaces and digital economies, this transformation brings both extraordinary possibilities and complex ethical, social, and governance questions.
