The AIS Distinguished Member designation recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the association. Eligible candidates should have maintained continuous membership for at least five years, actively participated in volunteer roles within AIS, and contributed to publications in AIS or AIS-affiliated journals. We encourage interested members to apply for these esteemed designations: Distinguished Member and Distinguished Member - Cum Laude, each with specific criteria.
Distinguished Member Qualifications:
At least five years of uninterrupted AIS membership
Participation in a significant AIS-related role
At least one publication in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal
AIS Distinguished Member – Cum Laude Qualifications:
At least ten years of continuous AIS membership
Participation in a significant AIS-related role
At least four publications in AIS or AIS-affiliated journals
Adding this designation to your professional achievements is a great way to close out the year. In addition to recognition on the AIS website, those who earn the Distinguished Member title in June and December 2024 will be honored at ICIS 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.
