			  Utah State University in Logan, Utah, USA hosted the 2024 AIS Student Chapter Leadership Conference. Held March 21 - 23, more than 150 students and faculty members representing 16 universities registered for the conference.
 “We would like to express our gratitude to all students and faculty who contributed to the success of the AIS Student Chapter Leadership Conference 2024 in Logan, Utah. A special acknowledgment goes out to our sponsors whose support enabled us to surpass previous records in awards and prizes. We are grateful to every chapter that participated by submitting entries for the various competition tracks and workshops, regardless of whether they advanced to the finals.” said Dr. Gladys Simpson, Associate Vice President of AIS Student Chapters. She added, “Special thanks to the Utah State students and faculty for their exceptional efforts in delivering an outstanding experience for all who attended. We look forward to our upcoming online conference in late 2024 and next year's in-person conference hosted by The University of Alabama.” Workshops and Keynote Speakers SCLC featured 15 different workshops for guests to explore and gain experience. Highlights included a secure code game from Github, an image generation challenge hosted by the USU Women in Tech and AI clubs, an introduction to ethical hacking by Florida International University, an anticipatory intelligence workshop hosted by the Center for Anticipatory Intelligence at Utah State, and finally crafting a personal brand using ePortfolios by students from East Carolina University.  SCLC 2024 featured two Keynote speaker sessions. Friday's keynote speaker, David M.R. Covey, presented seven hidden obstacles to success during competition breaks and Saturday's keynote featured two Utah State professors from the Center for Anticipatory Intelligence discussing the future of AI. SCLC 2024 Competitions During the conference, small teams of undergraduate and master’s students competed in four competitions for cash prizes. Winners of the competitions were announced the next day during the Keynote and Awards ceremony.
