AIS Distinguished Member Applications Due November 1

The AIS Distinguished Member designation is a prestigious acknowledgment bestowed upon those individuals who have made substantial contributions to the association. Eligible candidates should have maintained continuous membership for a minimum of five years, actively participated in volunteer roles within the association, and contributed to publications in AIS or AIS-affiliated journals. We encourage interested individuals to consider applying for these esteemed designations, which include Distinguished Member and Distinguished Member - Cum Laude, each with their specific criteria.

Distinguished Member Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of uninterrupted AIS membership
  • Holding a significant role in AIS or related activities
  • At least one publication in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal

AIS Distinguished Member – Cum Laude Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten years of continuous AIS membership
  • Holding a significant role in AIS or related activities
  • At least four publications in AIS or AIS-affiliated journals

Adding a new designation to your professional portfolio can be a rewarding conclusion to the calendar year. In addition to receiving recognition on the AIS website, those who attain the Distinguished Member designation in June and December 2023 will be honored at Member Connect and the membership booth during ICIS 2023 in Hyderabad, India.

Please visit the AIS website to submit an application no later than November 1, 2023. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.
