AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship: Call for Applications

Applications are now open for the next cohort of the AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship designed for Doctoral students studying the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and information systems.

The ongoing fellowship program, made possible by the generosity of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, supports PhD students exploring topics building on entrepreneurial-focused IS research streams such as examining social media, metaverse, 5G chatbots, FinTech, digital platform ecosystems, and crowdfunding.

The 2023 cohort fellowship includes: 

• Funds to support up to five PhD students focused on IS-centered entrepreneurship research at $5,000 per year per student. 
• Funds to assist in covering some of the travel expenses to AIS conferences to present, discuss, and collaborate on research. 
• Opportunity to present your work in an annual workshop/seminar on entrepreneurship and IS research.

Those interested in applying to the AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship program are encouraged to attend the AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship Symposium, a showcase of work from the program’s first year, on September 14, 2023.
