			 MENTORS WANTED!
The Association for Information Systems' College of Senior Scholars is pleased to initiate a new career mentoring program. The program is designed for three groups of Information Systems academics: self-identified minority faculty, faculty residing in non-VHHDI countries and clinical and non-tenure tracked faculty. This is not intended for doctoral students as the target audience is those who are current faculty members who want help in moving their career forward.

This is becoming a popular program, as we have already received applications from a large number of potential mentees. In order to support as many mentees as we can, we seek involvement from senior colleagues who will share their experience and wisdom with a junior colleague.

We solicit your participation in the program as a mentor. We invite AIS members who currently serve as department head, chair, dean, journal editor, or other leadership position to advise these junior colleagues about their own academic career path, which often focuses on teaching and administrative commitments. We encourage top scholars in the field to sign up to be mentors for those who are still beginning their research journey.

 Mentors will be expected to:
Provide initial data (via the questionnaire below) that will be used to match mentors and mentees.Commit to working with the mentee for at least one year.Commit to meeting with the mentee online (or in person) approximately once monthly.Agree to a set of goals/targets that the mentee would like to address.Provide brief feedback to the Mentoring Committee when solicited (likely annually).
If you would like to become a mentor, please fill out the short questionnaire by clicking this link. Pairing of mentors and mentees will begin on March 27. Mentors are encouraged to fill out the survey before then if possible. We look forward to setting up a rewarding mentorship relationship for you!
If you have any questions, please contact College of Senior Scholars Mentorship Committee Chair, Jane Fedorowicz at jfedorowicz@bentley.edu.
