PACIS 2023 Call for Papers: Submission Deadline Extended

Due to requests, the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS) 2023 paper submission deadline has been extended to March 7, 2023! PACIS 2023 encourages submissions of short and completed research papers, workshops and panels, and the doctoral consortium in current and emerging areas of Information Systems research as outlined in the twenty tracks. These twenty tracks capture this conference theme from a 360-degree perspective.

To be held July 8-12, 2023 in Nanchang, China, PACIS 2023 will bring together academics and industry professionals around the world to exchange knowledge related to diverse facets of information systems research and practice.

The theme for PACIS 2023 is “Navigating Digital Turbulence and Seizing New Possibilities” and the Pacific-Asia region is making an historic transition from the pandemic-response economy. The region is also undergoing rapid digitalization at societal, community, organizational, and individual levels. The world is now a place where digital technologies have fueled economic and societal changes that are faster, more complex, and harder to predict. PACIS 2023 will allow for an in-person discussion on how information systems research can help leverage opportunities for innovation in the digital era.

Submission Information:
All submissions must be made via the PACIS 2023 PCS submission system. After creating an account and logging on to the PCS site, authors should go to the “Author Center” to make their submission. Specifically:

• Visit the PACIS 2023 website for a complete list of tracks and mini-tracks that are available and to determine the proper mini-track for your submission prior to submission. Please contact the relevant track/mini-track chairs with any questions or concerns.
• Determine the proper type for your submission by reviewing the types of submissions on the conference website. Submission instructions, templates, and forms can also be found on the website.

Important Dates:

• January 1, 2023: Manuscript submissions begin
• March 7, 2023: Submissions deadline 
• March 15, 2023: Workshops and Panels proposal deadline 
• April 1, 2023: Doctoral Consortium nomination deadline
