AIS is pleased to welcome 19 new AIS Distinguished Members and 14 AIS Distinguished Members-Cum Laude in the December 2022 cohort. The newest AIS Distinguished Members join the 290 members who have received the designation since the program’s inception in 2019. The June and December 2022 cohorts will be recognized at Member Connect during ICIS 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark and at the AIS membership booth.
The AIS Distinguished Member program recognizes members who have made a significant impact on the association. Qualifications for the designation include a minimum of five years of continuous AIS membership, service in a significant role in AIS or AIS-related activity, and at least one publication in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal. The AIS Distinguished Member - Cum Laude designation is for those who exceed the requirement by holding continuous AIS membership for at least 10 years, service in a leadership role in AIS or AIS-related activity and have been published in at least four publications in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal.
Applications for the next cohort are due May 1, 2023 and self-nominations are permitted. To apply for consideration and to see the current list of Distinguished Members, please visit the AIS Distinguished Members at https://aisnet.org/page/distinguishedmember.
