AIS Student Chapters Program Welcomes 6 New Universities

The AIS Student Chapters has grown with the addition of six new Student Chapters this
year! With the introduction of chapters at Baylor University, Bina Nusantara University, East Carolina University, Prairie View A&M University, University of California – Riverside, and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, 44 student chapters now belong
to the program.
AIS Student Chapters would like to thank each university for its support of the program, as well as the faculty and student leaders who have helped form the chapters. With the addition of these chapters, the program now
has a presence in every AIS region.
“We are pleased to provide our newest AIS Student Chapters with the opportunity to connect with students and faculty advisors throughout the world,” according to Alex Lopes, AIS Associate Vice President
for Student Chapters. “Student chapters offer unique opportunities for students to network with information systems professionals, engage in competitions, participate in the Student Chapter Leadership Conference, and take advantage of professional
development opportunities hosted throughout the year.”
