Deborah Soule Named as Faculty Lead of Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship, Deadline Extended

AIS is pleased to announce that Deborah Soule has been named Faculty Lead of the Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship. Soule is a Visiting Lecturer in the Supply Chain and Information Management Group at Northeastern University. She has previously taught undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on topics including information systems, organizational behavior, management of technology and innovation, digital transformation and multi-sided platforms, organizational learning, and business analytics.


Soule began her career in Information Systems in the chemical and plastics industry, gaining experience in multidisciplinary and multilingual settings. Her research focuses on organizing and leading in the digital economy, examining how organizations apply and adapt to advancing digital technologies and pervasive connected data. 


“I am excited to help launch the AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship Program for PhD students studying the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and information systems,” said Soule. “I look forward to creating a community of emerging scholars and leaders bringing entrepreneurial perspectives to all phases and domains of information systems research.” 


The Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship provides funds to support up to five PhD students at $5,000 per year per student in addition to funds to assist in covering some travel expenses to AIS conferences and the opportunity to participate in an annual workshop on entrepreneurship and IS research.
