The Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) is one of the leading annual conferences for presenting the broadest variety of research by IS/IT scholars in the Americas and beyond. The AMCIS 2022 conference committee is excited to host several workshops, panels, and paper sessions, including a plenary session reflecting on the legacy of Gordon Davis and the future of the IS discipline. These offerings will allow participants to network and learn while honoring and expanding the intentional impact of the IS community. The AIS Doctoral Student College will host several events as part of this year’s AMCIS Doctoral Student Corner. These events have been developed to provide Doctoral Students with opportunities to gain advice from experienced faculty and to build relationships with others in our field.
Doctoral students at all levels are invited to sign up for these free ancillary events when registering for AMCIS 2022. If you have already registered for the conference but forgot to include the Doctoral Student Corner ancillary events, you are still welcome to participate. Several Amazon gift cards will be given away to participants in each of the Doctoral Student Corner events!

To facilitate matching outstanding candidates with open job positions, AIS is providing interview space at Career Connect throughout AMCIS 2022.
Open Interview tables are available by reservation only. AIS has several one-hour appointment blocks available for institutions and corporations that would like to conduct onsite interviews for active job postings. The most customary way to reserve a table is by scheduling an appointment block.
Institutions and corporations can reserve open interview tables in four one-hour time blocks per day. The reservation deadline is August 5, 2022.
All participants (interviewers and interviewees) in AIS Career Connect activities must be registered for both the conference and have a current job post or resume on the AIS Career Placement website.
