New and returning AIS members are invited to join association staff and volunteers for an online overview of AIS Membership programs and services on August 2, 2022! Two sessions will be held at various times of the day to allow global participation.
During the hour-long session, we will provide a brief overview of the association’s scope before sharing tips to help you benefit from your AIS membership. We will close with a peer networking opportunity! Some of the topics we will discuss include, how to:
Join AIS Special Interest Groups , Chapters, and Colleges
Access the AIS eLibrary
Utilize career services
Stay informed about upcoming events
When our overview is complete, we will break into smaller groups for information and questions specific to your membership. The Doctoral Student College will have representatives on hand to answer questions and provide more information about upcoming events and initiatives specific to our doctoral student members. Faculty volunteers will be on-hand for a small group discussion for our new Academic members. (You will have the opportunity to submit questions as you RSVP.)
