McLean Scholarship Continues to Support IS Students and Faculty

Wednesday, March 2, 2022   (0 Comments)

The Ephraim McLean Membership Scholarship program reached an exciting milestone in February by providing its one hundredth scholarship to doctoral students since its inception in 2019.

For more than three years, both doctoral students and faculty members have been offered support to finance individual AIS memberships. The awarded memberships include complete access to all AIS membership programs and services including the eLibrary, education resources, and career services.

“I am grateful to be part of the association, and this scholarship is very useful for me,” said a 2021 scholarship winner.

Named after one of the founders of AIS, Ephraim McLean, the scholarship program grants a one-year doctoral student membership and a one-year academic membership to individuals in countries rated in the Medium or Low categories on the Human Development Index. To date, more than 100 scholarships have been awarded to doctoral students and 50 scholarships have been awarded to faculty members.
