ICIS 2021 Features Keynote Speakers Dantley Davis & Sukumar Rathnam

ICIS 2021 will feature two timely, relevant, and captivating speakers who engage directly with consumer experiences on a daily basis. 

The first keynote will be Dantley Davis, Chief Design Officer at Twitter. Prior to joining Twitter, Dantley was at Facebook, where he led product design for Stories, News Feed, and Video. He spent seven years at Netflix, where he was responsible for design and product strategy for television and mobile experiences. His work transformed streaming user interfaces across the SVOD industry.

At Twitter, Davis says he is “part of a team whose core responsibility is to help shepherd and take care of the public conversation on the internet.”

Davis will present his Keynote on Monday, December 13 with the annual AIS Awards presentation to follow.

The second keynote will feature Sukumar Rathnam. Rathanm is the Vice President of Engineering for eCommerce Services (eCS) at Amazon and a member of the Board of Directors at ServiceNow. He has spent nine years at Amazon during which he oversees product management, software engineering, and machine learning for the selection and catalog systems. These systems manage the world’s largest e-commerce catalog of products and offers, serving up information on billions of products at over 10 million requests per second. 

Rathnam holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. 

Rathnam will present his Keynote on Tuesday, December 14, with the ICIS 2021 Best Paper Awards to follow.
