When AIS began in 1994, it was a formed as a volunteer-managed organization. As the association has grown, the need for volunteers has continued. Without the dedication and hard work from AIS volunteers, the association would not be the successful resource it is today. Volunteering with AIS provides you with many opportunities to not only give back to the IS community but also build your personal networks. AIS volunteers include SIG, chapter, and college officers, faculty advisors for student chapters, conference program chairs, journal editors, and so much more.  AIS is excited to announce even more opportunities to learn about getting involved with the association through the new AIS Volunteer Education and Application pages. If you are looking to build new skills, expand your perspectives, empower others, and lend some of your time and talent to a cause you believe in, please check out the new Volunteer Education and Application pages. This new resource shows you all the different ways you can volunteer, the application process, what each position requires and entails, and more! AIS continues to benefit from your knowledge and commitment to its work and we hope that we can help you utilize your skills in the best way possible. |
