Focus on Society: Distinguished Member Program

Wednesday, October 6, 2021   (0 Comments)

An AIS membership opens the door to many benefits aimed at improving personal careers, creating networks for advanced IS research, providing opportunities to create more inclusive communities and more. For the next few months, AIS will be highlighting the many programs and services the association offers through our Focus on Society.

This new program, Focus on Society, will not only highlight the longstanding programs and services our members have grown to expect, but also highlight recent additions to help create a more robust member experience. We invite you to share the ways you have benefitted personally and professionally from your AIS membership in the comments below!

Distinguished Member Program

Have you ever wondered what was the best way to honor someone for their hard work and dedication to the field of information systems and AIS? Have you been a committed member of AIS for years? If these resonate with you, check out the AIS Distinguished Member Program!

The AIS Distinguished Member Program recognizes members who have made a significant impact on the association by bestowing one of two designations: Distinguished Member or Distinguished Member - Cum Laude. Each designation has unique qualifications specific to membership term, volunteer service, and publications.

To learn more and to make a nomination, please visit https://aisnet.org/page/distinguishedmember.  The nomination deadline is November 1 and self-nominations are accepted.
