Submit Your Research to AMCIS and ICIS

AIS members and colleagues in the field of information systems are invited to submit their research to both AMCIS 2021 and ICIS 2021, with submissions open for both conferences.

AMCIS 2021 invites the submission of completed research papers, Emergent Research Forum (ERF) papers, Professional Development Symposia (PDS), panels, workshops and Technology Research, Education, and Opinion (TREO) talks. AMCIS 2021 will bring together academics and industry professionals around the world to exchange knowledge related to diverse facets of information systems research and practice.

AMCIS 2021 will provide exciting opportunities for participation, collaboration, and dialogue related to the conference theme “Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. AMCIS promises an exciting program that draws upon the best of SIG-driven AMCIS traditions and continues successful initiatives such as the ERFs and TREO Talks. ICIS 2021 invites colleagues to submit submissions for completed research papers, short papers, panel proposals, teaching cases, and professional development workshop (PDW) proposals, at this time.

The theme for ICIS 2021 is "Building Sustainability and Resilience with IS: A Call for Action". The challenges of modern organizations have changed dramatically over the course of the COVID pandemic. Our academy of IS academics has also pivoted substantially since our last in-person ICIS conference in Munich. Our discipline and our association now face grand challenges, but we do this together and collectively. ICIS 2021 aims to bring together our committee both in-person and online in a meaningful way to enable a sharing of our best research, ideas on the most important challenges, and a fight for the future of our planet.

Colleagues are invited to submit completed research papers or short papers to ICIS 2021. The conference will also include Panels, a redeveloped CIO Symposium, Professional Development Workshops, and a Paper-a-thon, in addition to 22 tracks covering all areas of IS research.
