InPractice Brings Science to Practice

InPractice, the monthly newsletter showcasing articles published in AIS Journals, is excited to merge with Science2Practice, a nonprofit organization with the goal of spreading the latest research findings to practitioners.

This partnership will provide more services for AIS Members and increase the circulation of published articles in AIS Journals.

Authors of selected journal articles are invited to prepare brief synopsis of their papers, which are then shared on the wide platform for academics, practitioners, and media to read and reference.

"Merging with Science2Practice will enable InPractice to reach more authors, allowing us to translate and publicize more research projects," said editor Dennis Galletta. "The extra capacity will result from an established editorial board from Science2Practice. If only one editor came from Science2Practice, it would double our capacity. That extra capacity will enable us to proactively contact authors, do more editing, and provide to the AIS Community a much larger pool of materials."

Science2Practice offers a broad base of readership, relevant insights to authors, global reach of research to the scientific community, and research presentations provided in a way to provide the most impact for practitioners.
