AIS is excited to announce the recipients of the 2018-2019 Student Chapter Awards, recognizing outstanding achievement among student chapters of the association.
For the second consecutive year, Utah State University has been named the AIS Student Chapter of the Year. This is the highest award given to a student chapter that has demonstrated an exceptional, well-rounded, and organized program.
The University of Georgia was named Distinguished chapters by the association for excelling in professional development, membership, careers in IS, community service, fundraising and communications. The Outstanding Student Chapter Award is given to chapters who have shown excellence in at least three areas of chapter activities. The 2018-2019 Outstanding Student Chapters were the University of Utah and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Outstanding Professional Development: Indiana University of Pennsylvania, University of Utah and Utah State University
Outstanding Community Service: University of Georgia and James Madison University
Outstanding Membership Activities: University of Georgia and University of Utah
Outstanding Communication: Indiana University of Pennsylvania, University of Georgia and Utah State University
Outstanding Advancing IS as a Profession: University of Colorado, Denver and Utah State University
Outstanding Fiscal Responsibility: University of Georgia
