Join fellow information systems researchers at PACIS 2019 in Xi’An, China this summer. PACIS, the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems, is known as one of the leading conferences on information systems and is also the only AIS conference dedicated to the Pacific Asia Region.
The purpose of PACIS is to create an opportunity for regional and International Information Systems researchers and practitioners to network and increase global advancement of Information Systems.
The theme of PACIS 2019 is, Secure ICT Platforms for the 4th Industrial Revolution. This theme focuses on negative impacts that past industrial revolutions have had on the world and using that information to prevent future negative consequences from the oncoming industrial revolution. PACIS 2019 asks researchers how to face this revolution in order to prepare for a safe world.
Answer these questions and many more in a historic capital of China. Xi’An is home to many popular attractions to visit during the conference such as the famous Bell Tower and Terra-cotta Warriors. Attendees are invited to try local food and experience local culture while learning more about global information systems research.
