CIO Symposium and IVI Connect IS Scholars and Practitioners

The ICIS 2016 CIO Symposium has partnered with the Innovation Value Institute's long-standing Winter Summit to offer a forum to connect IS scholars and IS practitioners. The CIO Symposium and IVI Winter Summit will focus on 'Winning strategies for enabling the Digital Enterprise - Secrets of Successful CIOs and thought-leaders'.
The first day presentations and panel discussions from distinguished CIOs and academic thought-leaders will share experiences and identify the critical IS management issues organizations face. The day will feature a CIO Keynote followed by both Academic and Industry speakers. Panels include 'The Changing Face of Today's CIO' and 'The Top Three Predictions for the Digital Enterprise'. The first day of programming is free to all registered ICIS attendees.
Day two of the IVI Winter Summit will be held at The Spencer Hotel with a series of presentations on the use of IVI's IT-Capability Maturity Framework (IT-CMF) by IVI member organizations as well as research workshops on topics such as digital transformation, skills and competencies, measuring capability improvement and agile methodologies. Registered ICIS participants will receive a discounted registration rate of €195.
