Join Fred Niederman, Editor-in-Chief of the Communications for the Association of Information Systems  as he discusses the future of the publication, upcoming special issues, improvements for authors and researchers, and more. Niederman teaches MIS graduate and undergraduate courses in Systems Analysis and Design, Database, Human-Computer Interaction, Data and Decision Making, and MIS Introductory Courses; Management courses in Project Management and Strategy/capstone; Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Doctoral Course in Research Methods.

Throughout his research career, Niederman has had 75 papers accepted by refereed journals, 13 refereed book chapters, and 70 articles at refereed conferences. Fred has been published in top journals such as: MIS Quarterly, CACM, Journal of AIS, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, and many more.

Niederman was the winning annual senior editor of the best JAIS paper of the year in 2016 and 2018. He also received the Senior Scholars/AIS best paper of the year award for MIS discipline and the Inaugural Paul Gray Award for the Most Thought Provoking Paper.
