Chapter & Affiliated Conferences

AIS supports designated conferences that deliver the same high standard of scholarly work as the association. These conferences may be run by AIS chapters, AIS SIGs, or similar organizations which apply and are approved for affiliation.

AIS Chapter Conferences

AIS Chapters play an important role in building community and supporting information systems scholarship around the world. Chapter conferences provide opportunities for members to present research, exchange ideas, develop professional networks, and strengthen engagement within their regions.

These conferences are organized by AIS Chapters and reflect the needs, interests, and priorities of their respective communities while contributing to the broader AIS mission of advancing the field of information systems.

AIS Affiliated Conferences

AIS recognizes select professional conferences that contribute to the advancement of the information systems field through its Affiliated Conference designation. These conferences support the global IS community by creating opportunities for research exchange, scholarly collaboration, and professional connection.

Affiliated Conferences are independently organized and managed, while receiving recognition from AIS and access to certain benefits that may include promotional support, use of the AIS Affiliated Conference logo and tagline, and inclusion of conference proceedings in the AIS eLibrary.

Organizations interested in applying for AIS Affiliated Conference status should review the full application requirements, benefits, and responsibilities before submitting a request.
