Revitalizing a dormant AIS Community is a powerful way to reconnect global scholars and spark local innovation. While the mission remains the same, this is your opportunity to redefine the group’s value and establish a sustainable foundation for leadership and research. We’re here to help you revitalize your community’s network.
Getting Started
To begin, please contact the AIS Membership Director to:
- Access History: Check if your group’s original founding documents are available for reference.
- Reconnect: Receive assistance in identifying and connecting with past community members.
- Set a Timeline: Work with the relevant Vice President to determine a mutually agreeable timeframe to meet community standards.
The Application Process
To document that the group meets current standards, you will submit the same Community Proposal used for new communities. However, because your community was previously established, revitalizing groups do not need to be presented to the full AIS Council for approval again, allowing for a more streamlined path to active status.
