One of the many features of ICIS 2015 included the iSchool Lunch to promote camaraderie, collegiality and the formation of ties among those at iSchools in the Information Systems community.
Faculty and doctoral students from iSchools around the world joined the event and the invitation was extended to those who might have been curious about working with iSchools as well.
Hosted by Susan Winter and Pin Wang, from the University of Maryland's iSchool, discussion at the lunch included topics such as advice and tips on successful career development, open positions at iSchools and the qualifications for those positions, funding opportunities for creative research ideas, and mechanisms to continue the growth of iSchool meetings at other AIS affiliated conferences.
